Every patient is a warrior. Though we mourn those taken by liver disease, we refuse to let their battles be forgotten. Their endurance is the spark that ignites our passion. We honor their legacy by turning advocacy into action and hope into a cure.
To the 43 year old man from North Carolina who saved my life, I think of you everyday and know you sit on my shoulder and experience every day with me.
