Director of Patient Advocacy
Nancy’s advocacy is rooted in lived experience. After receiving a life-saving liver transplant in 2019 due to alcohol use disorder, she dedicated herself to supporting others living with liver disease of any kind. Her journey fuels her commitment to honest conversations, stigma reduction and compassionate connection.
Creatively and the outdoors shape who she is – whether she is making something with her hands or finding peace under an open sky, these spaces remind her of resilience, renewal and the freedom restored through her transplant.
Her family remains her greatest source of joy and purpose, grounding her and inspiring the work she does every day.
Today, Nancy is vocal advocate for liver-health awareness, organ donation and the transplant community. She is deeply committed to uplifting both patients and caregivers, expanding communities of support and helping people access trustworthy, empowering resources.
Through her work with The Liver Circle, Nancy hopes to offer encouragement, connection and a sense of hope to anyone navigating a liver-health journey, reminding them that their story matter and their strength is real.
